Server Rules

*Every player agrees to follow the rules once account is created.
*Rules will apply no matter if player has or has not read rules. It is a player’s responsibility to read and understand the rules.
1. First and foremost. Treat others the way you would prefer to be treated. We will not tolerate racist, sexist, derogatory, or any type of offensive comments towards others. If you would like to be treated with respect, treat others with respect.
2. There is to be NO SHOUTING IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS IN THE IN-GAME SHOUTBOX/MEGAPHONE! It is very rude. We’ve put up with this time and time again and we’ve let this slide more times than we should have. So here’s the deal. You get a warning in game, followed by a whispered warning. With this Post that makes 3 warnings. If you decide to still break this rule, you will be banned for 24 hours. P.S.: Attempting to get around this rule by using one or two small letters will still result in the same disciplinary action.
3. Since we are an English server, only the universal language of English will now be allowed in the megaphone/shoutbox in-game. This rule will not affect any other forms of communication in-game.
4. You may not manipulate your client files for any reason. No Staff member will never ask you to do this. If you manipulate your client files at all, you will be permanently banned.
5. Any Racist, Derogatory, or otherwise just plain offensive names will be dealt with harshly. That includes IGN’s with inappropriate names, Tags, Titles, shouts, Vendor tags, etcetcetc.
6. You may not exploit any bug/glitch in the game for any reason. We will find out about it, and you will be punished severely for it.
7. You may not intentionally lie to a member of staff. We have ways to double check all claims and accusations against players that you make, so if you purposefully lie to us, the consequences will be harsh.
8. If you intentionally KS (Kill Steal) from another player after being warned and it is proven with screen shots/messages, you will be banned for 3 days hours for your first offense and then it will be lengthened for any other repeat offenses. KS’ing of special bosses (Evil Golem, Black Gargoyle, Harpy Queen, etc) will result in a 5 day ban.
The raid bosses (Tarintus and Kierra) are excluded from this rule as they were meant to be free-for-all competition bosses anyway.
9. PK’ing (Player Killing) on a map with mobs 10 Levels (not including bosses) or more below yours will get you banned for 48 hours provided they can facilitate accurate screenshots.
10. Do not beg for Gold/Items. The gold drop rate is 50x and item drop rate is 150x. Its not hard to get gold in game. Period.
If you spam exchange requests over and over in the attempt to beg for gold/items, you will be banned for 24 hours. This rule is also in place due to a sudden increase of players saying that their accounts are being broken into when they trade with someone who accepts it with no items/gold to trade and then they get suddenly d/c’d and their password is changed. DO NOT TRADE WITH PEOPLE YOU DONT KNOW OR TRUST! ESPECIALLY IF THEY’RE NEW ACCOUNTS!
11. The gold limit in place is 4 billion gold per character. If you bypass this amount, your character will become bugged, and you will not be able to trade gold or purchase items. We often run a script to fix the bug. If your character has the gold bug and is above 4 billion gold, your gold will be reduced back to zero.
12. Do not beg in whispers, shout, and in public chat excessively for Events. Events are occasional things we do to give away prizes to players. Its not something you’re entitled to everyday. It takes quite a bit of effort to do an event so it would be great if you could get some understanding and appreciation for them.
13. Refrain from using profane language in any form of chat, barring private whispers. We’re trying to keep the game at a friendly atmosphere, and on top of that, children play this game, we are NOT exposing them to that kind of Vulgar language here.
14. Altering a shout to make it look like another person is shouting can and will get you banned. We’ve seen plenty of instances where people are set up and framed like that. We will not tolerate it here.
15. For the LOVE OF GOD…use common sense.
16. Selling your character on here aka. Virtual Assets, for Real Currency is not allowed. The moment i hear or find out it’s sold is the moment i permaban it.
17. You may not impersonate a staff member for any reason. Impersonators will reccieve a 15 day ban on their first offense.
18. You are to treat all staff with respect. Regardless of title.
19. There is to be NO ACCOUNT SHARING PERIOD. If you share your account with someone, we will not be held liable for any lost/stolen items. Use common sense.
20. Dual logging (logging in more than once from the same computer) is not allowed on Athens Luna servers. This includes using programs such as sandboxie and virtual machine type programs to log in more than once.
21. Vending shops are only to be set up in the Alker Farm Region in the open areas across the bridges between the fishing area (water) and the farming area (numbered lots). Do NOT vend on the bridge! Members caught vending outside this area will be asked to relocate their shops, or be subject to disciplinary action, which can include removal from the server or banning for repeated offenses.
22. Abusing megaphones by using repeating characters will result in disciplinary action.
